Slim Fab

This guy has been around for some time now. I remember first hearing about him through researching the crazy ass trike pictured below. And later, seeing him turn up in a cycle magazine I found at a grocery store. This guy is all about custom fabrication of metric 2-strokes. Slim has some serious skill and imagination. Everything he turns out has his style (and name) all over it. Literally. Dig it – Speed Club Approved. Check out his chop blog too.

Bearded Lady Motorcycle Freak Show – Update

Speed Club sat down on Monday night at the 331 with none other than CT, the Snake Charming Tightrope Walker himself. (One of the organizers for the yearly Bearded Lady Motorcycle Show.) CT gave us a look over, taught us the secret handshake and we are officially announcing our role as one of this years sponsors! We’ll be donating some swag to raffle off including a few brand spankin’ new Biltwell Helmets so whatever you do, dont miss your chance. This event looks to be shaping up really well. Be sure to visit the Bearded Lady site for more info or check back here as we post updates throughout the upcoming months/weeks/days. Dig it – Speed Club Approved!

Speed Club Italiano!

Yeah – for all my love for bikes, I’ve always had a soft spot for the occasional Vespa. I bought my first maybe 8 years ago from a naval yard. It was a 1971 Sprint 160 if I remember correctly. It was a pretty slick little scooter. Other than some bad points, that thing would rip up and down the club house parking lot. I found this one a couple years back when I was still in Boston. Everything was there but the body needed some serious work. I’ve probably spent the better half of this winter bang out all the dents and preping for paint. Here’s a shot of all the body work almost ready for paint.

Lowbrow Customs New Site

The guys at Lowbrow have launched their new site. Check it out when you have a chance. The lowbrow blog has been moved to the front page which is definitely right up our alley. The Lowbrow Customs and Biltwell Inc products are always great but in the end, I want to SEE and read about whats happening. Much appreciation for these guys considering the Lowbrow gang are out of the Midwest too. Ohio to be exact.
