Hey Man Pan

Joe – a ham for the cam manages to pop up all over the chop web. I looked at a number of pics I got from Born Free, Full Tilt, and Davenport and somehow Joe is always floating in the background. Well its all for good cause cause Joe’s for real. He’s been hiding in the shadows for a year now working on the original “Hey Man! Pan”. Look for this thing next season. He’s killing it. Big plans to drive this thing to Cali and back Flying solo like a dog in the wind. I snagged this pic from Zac’s Heavy-Clothing.com.

Next year Minnesota is gonna be blowing up with all kinds of new shit. I think at least half the guys in the scene here are working on something new for next year. Spencer, Joe, Pete, Dave, Me, Chris and maybe Gator is he’s still hanging around.

They do a great job of feeding the chop culture with all sorts of high quality video production and we highly recommend everyone heading over there right now to check out exactly what I’m talking about. Was out on the East Coast for a while again. Swung by a few spots I haven’t visited in more than 7 years. Caught up with some old friends and officially lost touch with others. I guess you really do win some and lose some. Found this pic today and reminded me of Wilford and his boys back in DE. Wilford and his two sons ran a little bike shop from a padlocked garage behind the old train station. Good guys. Good work. Cash only.

Junk Motor – Tom Hayashi – HopperMag

Got turned on to HopperMag through Zac over at Heavy. From there – I found this great article about Tom Hayashi and Junk Motor in Japan. This dude is a cool, calm collector of fine HD artifacts. He quietly pedals his stuff over the internet and hangs out in a tiny little bedroom of a shop. Seriously, this dudes spread looks like a super secret clubhouse. Anyway, there’s a really cool video worth checking out. I talked to the guys at HopperMag to see if they’d open up the Vimeo for sharing but for sake of article continuity, you gotta go check ’em out to get the whole story. The Hopper Mag gang is doing some really cool treasure hunting. They’re actually getting off there asses and going out to capture the scene first hand. Expect big things from them.
