Never really been too hot on the “see and be seen – scene” that comes with going to bike shows or having a booth or whatever so I simply don’t do it. Instead I like to save up a big bag of pennies and nickels and hit the road for a couple weeks with a good friend or two. It keeps my mind right and it keeps my game tight.

Finally got the balls to take that damn long bike out on the town last night. New Kevin did me a solid and got this sweet clip of me straight hoodie ninja’d out, making my way home. This is the first time I’ve really ventured out of my neighborhood on this thing. Once I got rolling, I was out of my dome in love with this thing. So here it is: Ebony Queenofficially on the scene.
Just met with my man to get some chrome knocked out. I have no idea how or where he does it but every meeting is like some shady-ass human trafficking scene where I drive up all quick and hurried into the back parking lot. My man roles up and looks in my trunk right quick. We chat for a minute. Topic moves to something stupid and then back again onto price. We shake. He takes the shit with him and on good faith, I expect him to come back. Kinda reminds me of buying drugs in Atlantic City where this kid rolls up to a park bench on a huffy and says, “you give me the money and wait here.” What ever – Fuck it. I’m stupid and I want it.
I cant say I know all parties involved on the Show Class scene. But, from the folks I do know. The magazine, concept, and style are definitely on the level. Check ’em out. Subscribe. Dig it.
Packing for the trip. Shades, phone, jacket, blade, and a couple instant coffee packets. Glad to be heading out tomorrow but there’s nothing like the Twin Cities bike scene. Midwest is where it’s at.
