Swung by Bluecat Last night for beer, bikes and friends. Caught up on everything and got a lot of really cool pics. Here are just a few but I’m saving a few for the chopper blog durring the winter to remind us all of how much fun all this sh*t is.
NO idea what the Cycle Zombie tards are up to but looks like a really fun ride. I actually read somewhere that this film was part of next years Canes Film Festival. Also I read that they got the motorcycle mama lady from “surf nazi’s must die” to make some weird special appearance as a ranch owner or something??? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Spent a ew hours out in the garage yesterday. Got some sun and painted up the vespa for finishing. I’ve posted a few pics from this scooter before. I’ve had the thing for years and am now FINALLY getting back to it. Truth be told, once I started down a motorcycle path, vintage vespa’s and lambretta just didn’t pack the same punch as they used to. Never the less…
Here it is – the Yellow Submarine in all its sunshiny glory. Visit our spot at the bearded lady motorcycle freak show to check it out in person. Might switch it over to the racing cowls just for the event. See you there. – SC
Went out Sunday to Cattail Trail in Polk County Wisconsin to break in the new Banshee. Had a pretty good time. The trail is 100% flat (railroad bed) without many turns at all. Ultimately not the most exciting of trails but it was great for opening that Banshee up and jamming through the gears. I was definitely pushing 70MPH at one stretch which reassured me that ATV’s = FUN! Dig it – Speed Club
I found this yesterday via the good old cycle zombies blog. It looks like it will be a really fun video. I always love motorcycle documentaries but even better, I love wide open spaces. The site is a little confusing but definitely check it out (Itsbetterinthewind.com). I cant exactly tell who, where, or how the whole project developed but it definitely appears to be a story worth telling.
