Donnie Smith 2010 – Pics Vault

As with all swap meets, one mans trash is another mans treasure. More pics from the 2010 Donnie Smith Motorcycle show. Lots of great parts for that bobber project or chopper project you cant seem to finish. Found a great Harley Servi-Car frame pictured below along with a twisted little snap shot of the sea of parts claiming most of the floor space. Dig it. More to come from the chopper blog.

One Fine Triumph – Minneapolis

I’m a big fan of Triumphs and when I saw this one at First Thursday, I was all over the thing. I must have taken at least a dozen photos of this thing. It is clean as the day it rolled out of the storage container. Lets face it, Triumph has always produced the greatest tanks. They look fast and follow the frame perfectly. Speed Club approved. Dig it.

XS650 Chopper ~ A Damn Good Start

The frame and tires are ready to go! This is what I call a good start. xs650 choppers and bobbers are definitely one of the easiest and most economic builds around. Granted, you can certainly turn them into a $4k hole in your wallet but at that price, why not rebuild some obscure BSA hill climber or something? This thing will be ripping through Minneapolis by the end of the week for sure. We’ll pst some more updates t the chopper blog this week.
