We were living under a tent in 100 degree weather like some kind of crazy gasoline fueled sweat lodge. I drank maybe 5-6 bottles of water and my piss ran like snot. Everyone scattered and braved the sun in search of that good shit while a few of us remained completely motionless in the shade. Lizards waiting for a breeze, man. Eventually the sun began to set but this didnt stop the heat. Knuckles almost died right where she stood. The only thing that could cool you down was hammering the bike through town and out to the highway as the night air wicked the layer of grime and sweat off the back of my neck. Here is the one and only photo I took. At some point in the night, I think Zac’s shadow went walkin’ cause the one on the wall behind him is definitely not his.? What can I say. It’s always well worth the trip.

Stayed an extra day on the way back in Kansas to visit with the Germans family. Sure enough, they gave us a shotgun and we rode out to the back 40. Everyone was having a blast. Jordan was a real killing machine. He hates those damn morning doves!
I was a little chopped the hell out when we left Cali but 4 days in a van has a way of making you crazy to want to get out a blast off all over again. I have tons of totally amazing pics to share so stay tuned to the chopper blog.

Finally got my shovel! Cant believe the day finally came. Once I get done ripping that spike and skull crap off, I think she’ll do just fine. It was covered in garage dust the first time I saw it. Didnt realize until now but she’s got a Hi-4, chrome trans case, S&S Shorty E, and a hand full of other chrome extras that will likely get re-purposed for the build. I gotta say, I’m loving it. Did I mention the plate number is 666? Yeah – for real. I thought I was reading it wrong or some shit. Crazy!
Here’s a pic. I threw a spare wassell tank and solo seat on it. I also swapped over to a different bar for mock up purpose. I got plans to make this thing my Born Free Funky Stick! – Dig it.

Every now and again, I end up pulling a double duty over at the print shop. It’s kinda cool cause I can crank the music without the business next door getting all “sandy vagina’d” on me. When the work day is through I can crack a beer, start shutting down and on occasion… even take some late night pics. I love my machines. In the daylight, they just sit quietly waiting for me to wake them up. And then when deadlines start gettin real crazy, this place is pounding and the floor vibrates like a locomotive. I love my machines. All 10 tons of them.

I was up in Duluth over the 4th. Drinking Beer and riding around on the Jetski; it was a very laid back weekend. Somewhere along the way someone asked me, “wanna check out my little project?” Sure, I said. And there in a garage sitting up on a lift was a very, very rare 1985 Suzuki Gamma. These things are a mid 80’s 500cc Dual Twin 2-stroke powered scream machine. The motor is actually 2 sets of twin cylinders piggy backed together. A very unusual design to say the least. Even more crazy is the wild expansion chamber pipes coming out of all sides of the block. Note the super cool “Gamma” symbol molded on the frame from the factory. There are only about 800-1000 of these across the US and I can now say that I’ve seen it…
Whisper with me now…”great white buffalo.”
