Progress Update!

Just got a text from Jordan with a pic of the tank almost complete. I’m f*cking speechless… Here’s a tiny glimpse of where we’re at. Come to the Bearded Lady Motorcycle show and Full Tilt this weekend to see it in person. Support your local chopper blogs. Check out Jordan and Union Speed & Style online and in person this weekend too.

Welcome to Summer

I’m running around like a mad man these days. Getting ready for both the Bearded Lady and Full Tilt. My bike is at Jordan’s shop getting some fab magic. New shirts are supposed to be ready today. The heat has finally let up. Friends visited last weekend and work is work. Last night I needed to find myself so I sat on a stool in front of that damn Vespa till midnight. Zen is working in the garage.

Full Tilt = HUGE

This is the first year for FT and its proving to be epic. In your final days as you lay there gasping for breath on the side of the highway you are going to start thinking about the things you missed out on in life. Some kid on a bicycle runs over to your dying body. You open one eye barely whisper… “full tilt.” Support your local chopper blogs. Be there.

Born Free and Back…?

Still whirling on the trip. There was so much to see and do. I tried my best to capture as much amazing shit as possible. I saw great electric giants and found a lost cycle wastelands in the middle of the desert. Never mind the rattle snakes as we watched a one legged man kick start a Bonneville Harley flathead, I was spin kicking the devil into a 20ft dream catcher while some kid from Canada proceeded to melt my mind! Just then I thought I’d survive the flames but instead I was fed two year old chili and accidentally stepped on Speed Ages orange rug. I was a foreigner in this land yet I still managed to find a 4 speed ratchet case and single-handedly stopped some 8 year old girl from beaning our van with a brick. I was lucky this time but I have the map and we shall return!  ~ Enjoy!

*oh yeah – Hot Donna was there too.

Come to Daddy!

Been holding out for a long time on getting a lathe but its finally time to bring it on home. I’ve got the garage insulation, sheet rock and heating in the mix so that my equipment doesnt just waste away. This lather is gonna come in real handy with my old printing equipment too. I cant count how many times I’ve had to call in a last minute favor to get something milled, drilled or lathed to get one of the presses back up and running. Dig it. Real pics coming soon. By the way… check out the South Bend site. Tons of really great information to keep folks on track. Knucklebusterinc has a bunch of great posts on the subject too.
