I’ve had this image floating round for weeks now and I keep coming back to it as easily one of my favorite sissy bars in a long ass time. I mean come on – how could anyone NOT like a sissy bar made from cock rings!? Seriously though – I’ve seen this dudes bike pop up on a bunch of chopper sites recently. Finally after a few too many weeks in the garage, Brian and Eric (a.k.a. XS Eric, a.k.a. Marvin the Minnow) got together last weekend to officially knock out the final fixes on Erics xs650 bar hopper. This thing is really something. Custom fame, 21″ front end with a beautiful rake, electronic ignition, forward controls, shorty drag pipes, and a good old banana caliper in the rear. This thing screams. More importantly, to celebrate the finished build, we got together on Monday night for a little race around the cities.

Ridin’ solo on Monday night. Needed to run out the bike. Swung through Roseville, Downtown Minneapolis, Uptown, St Paul and even hit up Porky’s for a burger. No agenda – No direction. The XS is running great as usual. Only thing on my mind right now is trying to get a lengthy ride in before the end of the summer.

Great weather. The sun is shinning and my grass is green. Time to roll out Eric’s XS bar hopper for some pics. Bike is coming along steady. Rear wheel is finally spaced out along with caliper. Tank is on and we’re just ironing out his ignition and the pesky xs650 charging system. Coming up is his custom brake line, rear fender, and taillight. From there, he’s on his way.

I was scanning the old Church of Choppers site this afternoon and look what I found! Heavy speaking suspiciously into his hand. I think he’s saying “rebel to base – tacos on standby.” I also found this fella kicking over the bike we featured some weeks back from the Donnie Smith Bike Show. I gotta say – I thought this thing was all show but apparently she’s a driver. All very cool pics from last weekends Kung Fu Tap and Taco Dice Party in Iowa. Dig it.
