Shovelhead Sonny

Still in progress this week. It’s been nothing but doom and gloom all day. Took Sonny with me to hang out in the garage but all he wanted to do was sit on the bike. Fact: If your kid shows interest in bikes, encourage it. Sonny rules! by the way: Check out the custom fender I came up with. Drag/Digger/Smith-Fetrow/Crazy Frank Inspired prism fender. My first Speed Club Original. Hand hammered, shaped, and welded by Me and Mine. Taillight is tucked up underneath. Still needs a little love before paint but it’s almost there. More on that shit soon enough.

Friday Days – Friday Nights

Been busy. Hit the shop in the morning and knocked out my days work by noon. Headed to Rick’s to drop off a Triumph frame for some fab work. Got home just in time to sign for a UPS package (Z-bars) and feed the dog. Checked the mail on the way out only to find my Born Loser T-shirt finally arrived. (will post later) Borrowed a trailer. Moved a bike out of storage. Hit up a local watering hole. Come 1 am – I’m back at the garage and I finally tracked down that damn oil leak! This is what I call a good day. If only I had found a little time to get some riding in.

Intl. Bike Show Classics

All kinds of crazy super flashy stuff at the international bike show. Not really my scene personally but there are always some really great classics at these shows. Here are a couple images that came back from a buddy. A sweet Scout – “Wall-o-Death” style along with a slick little flat tracker and a very cool board track racer.

Stolen Pic from Biker Metric

A little something lifted from BM. Nice couple of mobility scooters.  Love it.

Ironhead Wednesday

I’ve got another bike build on the brain which once again has led me straight to drag bikes. What can I say. I LOVE DRAG BIKES! Drag bikes are raw precision engineering stripped down to the absolute minimum. Speed above all else. Every inch of the bike is completely and totally utilitarian in design. Here’s a bunch of Ironhead images I’ve been collecting.
