Destroy All Earthman!

Where to begin. Took off Friday afternoon at thirteen hundred hours and traveled solo through the meat duke of Iowa. I lost rear brakes almost from the moment I left and when I say lost, I mean I completely blew out a piston seal! Front brakes were still holding strong but bad fork seals make for shakey stopping. Bub shield keeps my handsome face from being destroyed by earth creature and space debris. Burning oil fast while traveling along the river. Skipping from state to conscious state I see a spot to land, refuel, and recheck my ship. Acid rain kept me grounded for an extra hour. Finally moving at light speed until a fellow traveler alerts me to a lack of light function. I keep pushing with the sun’s rays guiding me closer to home. Finally the blackness falls and I’m forced to stop to make repairs. Luckily I wired this vessel myself and the trouble is tracked down and promptly rigged. I just hope my repairs hold… fingers crossed. I finally crash land back at home base after 9 hours of travel. My ship badly damaged, leaking, weary, and in need of serious consideration. None the less… I am home again. Alive to tell the tale!

Road Update – Iowa Oddities

12 hours straight through the day and into the night. Got lost for an hour chasing road spirits and Zac’s inner demon was momentarily captured (photographic evidence below). Not another car in site as we lorded the earth. Closed our eyes for 3 hours and awoke to someone crackin off a Genny shovel a couple feet from my sleepy head. Proceeded to spend 8 hours in 90+ weather. Found a single Ness fender in Iowa. Weaseled a shovel cone motor. Blaine and Dave both scored Pan motors along with a trailer full of rarities and quality oddities. Your neighborhood chopper blog.

3AM in Davenport

3AM in Davenport. Everyone arrived safe and sound. 90/per through Dubuque. We did about 350 miles today including some pretty lengthy stops for gas, beers, and dogs. We destroyed the Highways. 90+ rolling 4-5 deep. Taking up all the lanes. Passed through some spirits on the road. Saw a guy crush a possum. Arrived in Davenport at 1AM. Highlife and camping into the early morn. Tomorrow is a big day.

Out of Town

Gotta love the Bub. I’m out of town for the week. 700 glorious miles along the river. Scored the old school mx helmet from Drunkle Evan. Snapped the bubble shield on for good measure. I’m straight travelin’ through time now!
