Starting to lose it

Got everything back (paint n chrome) on Friday. I’ve spent at least 30 hours in the last 3 days trying to get my act together and I think I’m finally starting to lose it. Back and forth to the hardware store for all this damn fine thread shit. I’m down to the home stretch now. Pipes, turning down wheel spacers, fuel line, little stuff. Hopefully, I’ll have it down from the lift tonight. Everything is new. I rebuilt the motor, and trans. I made the bars and sissy with New Kevin assisting with some fine ass finish welding. Jordan is helping me recover a seat. I even came up with a custom brake and shift assembly. I’ve got a stupid amount of time in this thing but I wouldn’t trade a minute for anything. Born Free – here we come.

Chrome

Just met with my man to get some chrome knocked out. I have no idea how or where he does it but every meeting is like some shady-ass human trafficking scene where I drive up all quick and hurried into the back parking lot. My man roles up and looks in my trunk right quick. We chat for a minute. Topic moves to something stupid and then back again onto price. We shake. He takes the shit with him and on good faith, I expect him to come back. Kinda reminds me of buying drugs in Atlantic City where this kid rolls up to a park bench on a huffy and says, “you give me the money and wait here.” What ever – Fuck it. I’m stupid and I want it.

Let’s celebrate Chrome with a little Chrome.

Makin Plans

The weather appears to be going int a thaw here so Im starting to make my summer plans. The season is kinda short here so if you plan on doing anything, you gotta make time for it. Im probably gonna ride up through Canada to clear out the cob webs. Im assuming we’ll have another Full Tilt show. Dice Party in Des Moines is definitely on the list. There’s Born Free right around the corner and of course, there’s the Bearded Lady show in Minneapolis. Make your plans on you’ll miss out.

Tuning out

Rain today. Im closing the shades and tuning out for the next 24 hours.

New Kevin – Minnesota

Im lucky to be from MN. We’ve got chopper history, great bikes, and real cool people who ride the shit outta there bikes.

I’ve made a lot of really good friends over the years. New Kevin is the real thing. Super cool guy with a lot of skill and talent. He’s always down to jump in where needed and dudes got vision. Dont believe me, google him. Check out his bike. Thanks Kevin for all your help homie.
