Track Leathers

Sweating it out on a hot summer day in the track leathers. It’s been real hot around here for the past week. Too hot to do much at all. In fact, I’ve been on the horn for a few days knocking out CHOPOUT plans. Everything’s finally coming together for our little inpromptu northern excursion. When the sun sets on the Twin Cities

Headed out last night to meet up with RL and knock out some ride plans. Ended up hanging indoors waiting for the sun to go down. Eventually it cooled down and we put on some miles, cruised along the mississippi, down grand, up university (almost lost it around 27th where I fishtailed through some loose gravel), and through northeast. RL has a kick ass camera and grabbed a bunch of shots while we held up a Holiday gas station.

Road Ate my Plate

Took a few hours to sneak away from the wife and kid for a Sunday ride with E and Ty. Went up 65 to Fatboys for a beer and air conditioning. Feels like a hundred and ten degrees out there on top of the asphalt. Somewhere along the way I lost my plate but quickly recovered it (and kept it in my pocket) for the duration of the afternoon. Hit up a few more spots out in Little Canada, Roseville and Shoreview. Eventually had to call it for the day. Supposed to be hot all week. Suppose it could be worse (raining).
