Found a fella 3 blocks away who was getting rid of a couple snow throwers. This one he had for the last 35 years! 8HP, 26″ auger, First pull – MONSTER blower. Only cost me $30 bucks! I admit, most readers from outside of the northern Midwest probably wont get it but if you ARE from round these parts then you probably understand that $30 is honestly unheard of for ANY snow blower. By Minnesota standards, this thing is GOLD. Took me an entire weekend of smooth talking the guy to finally make the deal. Now if I can just figure out how to throw some lights and a sissy bar on it???

Being a Kid Rules

This is Jameson. We call him Sonny. He’s 2 years old, almost 3 and a half feet tall and he’s got the hair of a god damned angel.

I sat outside the other afternoon while my son played in the sandbox. I was just kicking back in a chair enjoying the day. Sonny was playing trucks, diggin’ holes, wearing one sock and what not. It reminded me that being a kid rules. That’s sort of the same thing that gets me so obsessed with bikes. Dickin’ around with bikes and riding around with friends keeps you young at heart. The trick is to go with the flow and always pay your own way. As soon as you start taking sh*t too serious or writing checks your ass cant cash, you’re fucked.

Scooter Trash Last Satruday

Me Pete and Reinhart road out to the Scooter Trash show last Saturday. No kidding – it was 36 degrees when I woke up that morning. Made for a chilly ride but the sun was shining and a good time was had by all. Reinhart got this pic of Me and Pete bullshitting at a light somewhere. I did manage to get some half assed video of Pete and Reinhart riding down 13 which Im editing now. The show was cool. Nothin epic to report. I hung back behind the Union Speed booth with Jordan. Slow Week

Nothing too crazy going on this past week. Working on the Shovel motor. Making an 80″ out of a 74″. Rings showed up along with a sweet little FTWCO hat. My son claimed the hat in the first 5 minutes of opening the box. Moved one of my big presses out of the house and out to the garage to have delivered to the shop. Snapped the foot peg off my bike yesterday night so I spent some time today drilling out and re-taping everything for some big grade 8 shit. Had some stainless nuts on the shelf so I tossed em into the lathe this afternoon. Turned out some sweet rings. I have a couple left. No idea of the size, I just trimmed the fat till they fit my finger. Email me if you want one. Send $10 bucks and your address and I’ll ship it out. Tomorrow is the Scooter Trash Show. I really don’t know too much about it but I’ll be there. Come out and support.

There goes my Winter Project

Damn – no joking. I was gonna put together an xs drag bike this winter for shits and giggles down at the track next spring. I was gonna use the XS motor cause they’re cheap and parts are all over the place both in junkyards and the web. Well much to my surprise today as I was cruising Zen of Neato, somebody already beat me to it. Fuck me. This bike looks good and scary too. I do not however see an air shift kit so Im wondering if this thing is real or for show??? Now I guess I gotta go KZ or maybe RD? I do love those Yamaha 2-strokes. Anyway, Im usually not one to post others content but this shit is worth the look. enjoy
