Suzuki Gamma Sighting in North America

I was up in Duluth over the 4th. Drinking Beer and riding around on the Jetski; it was a very laid back weekend. Somewhere along the way someone asked me, “wanna check out my little project?” Sure, I said. And there in a garage sitting up on a lift was a very, very rare 1985 Suzuki Gamma. These things are a mid 80’s 500cc Dual Twin 2-stroke powered scream machine. The motor is actually 2 sets of twin cylinders piggy backed together. A very unusual design to say the least. Even more crazy is the wild expansion chamber pipes coming out of all sides of the block. Note the super cool “Gamma” symbol molded on the frame from the factory. There are only about 800-1000 of these across the US and I can now say that I’ve seen it…

Whisper with me now…”great white buffalo.

Be sure to check out Jeremy who will have a booth of his own and make sure you get your raffle tickets while you can. The winner’s will each receive a one-of-a-kind Biltwell lid with some pretty rad stripes. Dig it. Check out the chopper blog over the next few weeks as the event approaches. We’ll share whatever we know. Be sure to stop out to the Bearded Lady and support your Midwest Moto Culture.

Twin Cities – Ridin’ Solo

Ridin’ solo on Monday night. Needed to run out the bike. Swung through Roseville, Downtown Minneapolis, Uptown, St Paul and even hit up Porky’s for a burger. No agenda – No direction. The XS is running great as usual. Only thing on my mind right now is trying to get a lengthy ride in before the end of the summer.

Zac Doom and Diamond Dave

Zac (Heavy-Clothing.com) and Dave stopped by the over the weekend to check out a shovelhead motor. Sounds like Dave has a project in mind. Hung out in the garage for a while talking about all kinds of random shit. These guys are good people. Been all around and are really doing something all their own. Check out the Zac’s site, support HEAVY and the boys. Here’s a shot I snagged for the chopper blog just before they headed out.
