So I was doing so sniffing around on Youtube again. Damn… I’ve been really hounding that Youtube a lot lately. Anyway… I have here a compiled collection of video from lat years Biltwell Bash (2009). I found this yesterday via the good old cycle zombies blog. It looks like it will be a really fun video. I always love motorcycle documentaries but even better, I love wide open spaces. The site is a little confusing but definitely check it out (Itsbetterinthewind.com). I cant exactly tell who, where, or how the whole project developed but it definitely appears to be a story worth telling.
The king of cool, Steve McQueen. Seriously, this dude could make needle point look cool. I was just goofing around Youtube yesterday looking at videos of midwest trails and managed to stumble across this sweet video. I think that’s a Manx kit he’s got on the VW but I’m no Dune Buggy aficionado. Anyways – watch the video, pop some amphetamines and drive fast.
Imagine nearly 700 people crowded onto the sidewalks of about 4 square blocks. Yup, and we got a “shload” (shit+load) of pics to prove it. There were so many people and bikes out that the cops were intentionally perched at all corners popping people left and right for damn near anything. I’m sure the fuzz made their monthly quota that night. Tons of near stock Harleys and more rice rockets than you could shake a stick at; I still found a few nuggets worth the photo op. Here are some pics.
Yes – and here they are. Mounted and guaranteed to add approximately 3+HP to any moving vehicle. Hell, I think the chopper blog is actually loading faster today too!
