Drag Bikes from the Past – Mor’-Xpense!

Here’s a few pics of stretch with his harley drag bike out at lions raceway from way back when. This thing has it all. Great lines, nothing to hold on to and a face only a mother could love! These pics are great too. Lots of detail including the rad custom tank, school bell air filter cover, finned case, and that springer front end! Love those bobber style race bikes! ATV’s = FUN! Dig it – Speed Club

Went out Sunday to Cattail Trail in Polk County Wisconsin to break in the new Banshee. Had a pretty good time. The trail is 100% flat (railroad bed) without many turns at all. Ultimately not the most exciting of trails but it was great for opening that Banshee up and jamming through the gears. I was definitely pushing 70MPH at one stretch which reassured me that ATV’s = FUN! Dig it – Speed Club

Flat Track – Matt Holm and the Hot Shoe

Someone recommend I watch this video. I did. It’s cool. Matt Holm is doing his thing around the track. Some really great shots including a lot of live close-ups. Dig that hot shoe. It was like watching a deleted scene from Little Fauss and Big Halsy. Welcome to the chopper blog.

Bobber, Chopper, Rabbit, or Rat?

I don’t know. This bike was really spectacular. Perhaps too spectacular to wear a carb badge reading “rat.” I could be wrong but judging by the 10lbs of metal flake, pin striping, pan head motor, and completely far-out assembly, I have to admit that this bike was definitely invoking the spirit of Ed Roth himself. Now I’m not saying this looks like a Big Daddy freak show. I’m just pointing out that the builder definitely found some inspiration in Roth’s work. Enjoy these pics. We certainly do.
