Great weather. The sun is shinning and my grass is green. Time to roll out Eric’s XS bar hopper for some pics. Bike is coming along steady. Rear wheel is finally spaced out along with caliper. Tank is on and we’re just ironing out his ignition and the pesky xs650 charging system. Coming up is his custom brake line, rear fender, and taillight. From there, he’s on his way.

This guy has been around for some time now. I remember first hearing about him through researching the crazy ass trike pictured below. And later, seeing him turn up in a cycle magazine I found at a grocery store. This guy is all about custom fabrication of metric 2-strokes. Slim has some serious skill and imagination. I was scanning the old Church of Choppers site this afternoon and look what I found! Heavy speaking suspiciously into his hand. I think he’s saying “rebel to base – tacos on standby.” I also found this fella kicking over the bike we featured some weeks back from the Donnie Smith Bike Show. I gotta say – I thought this thing was all show but apparently she’s a driver. All very cool pics from last weekends Kung Fu Tap and Taco Dice Party in Iowa. Dig it.
