Wild Ride 1
Guns blazing across the lake around 2am. That’s the sound that closed out the night. We met up with 30 constituents down by the railroad tracks in Minneapolis earlier that morning around 10am. Folks arrived from southern MN, Iowa and WI on everything from barn fresh ironhead chops to little CB350 twins.
Cut out from MN to the WI boarder crossing at Taylors Falls on our way to the North HWY. Other than a few brief moments of funky fuel line the only trouble was a little unexpected rain. Everybody got a little soaked but we finally trudged through the mud and pine needles to set up camp around 4.
Someone found a path down to the beach and quickly whipped up a fire. We drug the coolers down from the hill and proceeded to get blasted. Steve ( the owner of the grounds) was in great spirits during our stay.
Made a lot of new friends. Everyone had an awesome attitude considering just about everything was unplanned and/or unscheduled. Will there be another ride next year? Hell yes.
Many thanks to everyone who showed up and to all our sponsors. I appreciate all the support.
