First Thursday Follow Up – Minneapolis

First Thursday Follow Up – Minneapolis. Apparently it doesn’t pay to get there early. RL showed up around 5 last night and it was like a ghost town. Picked up through the night though. Here are a few pics for the chopper blog. Everything from really clean Indian to a CB750 racer to Davids sprung xs650 bobber.

Speed Club Drag Bike Project

Rode out to the Bearded Lady last Saturday on the Speed Club Drag Bike project. Here’s a before/after of the conversion. Started with my xs650 bobber and went from there. More coming during this winter. Chopper Blog – Dig it.

Saturdays Mods vs Rockers ride in Minneapolis 2010 – Video

Here’s a quick video I pieced together from a huge folder of shots I grabbed today at the Mods vs Rockers Ride in Minneapolis yesterday (June 5th – 2010). Lots of great stuff. Had a great time even though it rained like mad for almost the entire day. Soaked to the bone but had a chance to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones. Great bikes and scooters. Special thanks to BlueCat Motors for organizing the event. Met up at Grumpys. Pounded a couple Guinness and headed through the campus and down University Ave to the BC Motors lot for more bike and pretty ladies. Dig it. Check out our chopper blog for all sorts of midwest moto psycho culture, pics, video and parts. Extra thanks on the music provided by none other than the late great Doo Rag – “Bullhorn”

xs650 Bobber Video – July 2009

Here’s a little video hacked together last year from right around the time I discovered the midwest actually has a pretty cool cycle scene.

Eric’s XS650 bobber build – follow up.

Eric’s bike is coming along. Finally got the front wheel spaced out and the throttle/clutch assembly mounted and working. Still need to knock out the forward control linkage and make a new custom hydro brake line for the rear caliper. Fired up the motor today for the first time in maybe two years. Runs pretty strong and loud. Might need to update the exhaust later on for reliability sake.
