Choppers for Life

This is my dude. I dont know what to say. He saves me from doing some really stupid shit sometimes. I guess it goes both ways though. Start ’em young and try to keep ’em safe. Choppers for life.

Indiana Bound

ON my way to Indiana for some big bike show/swap meet. Hoping to swoop in and find some goodies to bring back. This bummer weather had me diggin’ through some shots of this past summer. Here’s one of my boy Sonny on New Kevins Dream Machine. This shot looks a little like some kind of chopper cult commune with a handful of little kiddos running around, kickin up dirt. Summer… come back soon… I miss you already.

Being a Kid Rules

This is Jameson. We call him Sonny. He’s 2 years old, almost 3 and a half feet tall and he’s got the hair of a god damned angel.

I sat outside the other afternoon while my son played in the sandbox. I was just kicking back in a chair enjoying the day. Sonny was playing trucks, diggin’ holes, wearing one sock and what not. It reminded me that being a kid rules. That’s sort of the same thing that gets me so obsessed with bikes. Dickin’ around with bikes and riding around with friends keeps you young at heart. The trick is to go with the flow and always pay your own way. As soon as you start taking sh*t too serious or writing checks your ass cant cash, you’re fucked.

Shovelhead Sonny

Still in progress this week. It’s been nothing but doom and gloom all day. Took Sonny with me to hang out in the garage but all he wanted to do was sit on the bike. Fact: If your kid shows interest in bikes, encourage it. Sonny rules! by the way: Check out the custom fender I came up with. Drag/Digger/Smith-Fetrow/Crazy Frank Inspired prism fender. My first Speed Club Original. Hand hammered, shaped, and welded by Me and Mine. Taillight is tucked up underneath. Still needs a little love before paint but it’s almost there. More on that shit soon enough.

Happy Birthday Sonny!

Happy birthday sonny! We’re back from vacation. Sorry for the delayed posts this past week. Brian’s boy, “Sonny” just had is big first birthday. Celebrated with the family pack coming out from back east to spend the week partying. As all of you already know – the weather in MN was sh*t most of the week but we all still managed to have a blast.
