Enjoy the Stink of Dirt and Gasoline? – us too!

AMA Dirt Track Racing coming up!
Come out on September 11th to Canterbury Park and check out this seasons Pro AMA Dirt Track racing. Should be a killer event. “The Minnesota Mile” is part of the AMA Grand National Series, will be held on Canterbury’s one-mile dirt oval. Here’s the link for details. Or Check out the Canterbury Park site – http://www.canterburypark.com. Admission is between $10-$35 depending on when you get your tickets. Speed Club will be there. Bikes, Cars and Hair Grease – September 5th

Dont forget to make it out to the Messaround this September. It’s shaping up to be quite a great event so put it on your calendar. Bikes, cars and Hair Grease. Speed Club will likely make some kind of appearance along with a bunch of other lowlife, tattooed, freaknik, Motorheads pals. More chopper blog to come. Memorial Day in the Speed Club Garage

Spent a ew hours out in the garage yesterday. Got some sun and painted up the vespa for finishing. I’ve posted a few pics from this scooter before. I’ve had the thing for years and am now FINALLY getting back to it. Truth be told, once I started down a motorcycle path, vintage vespa’s and lambretta just didn’t pack the same punch as they used to. Never the less…

Here it is – the Yellow Submarine in all its sunshiny glory. Visit our spot at the bearded lady motorcycle freak show to check it out in person. Might switch it over to the racing cowls just for the event. See you there. – SC

Mods v.s. Rockers 2010 – Chicago

That’s right folks. The Ton-Up Club Chicago has their ass in gear and have already posted the flyer and date for their annual Mods v.s. Rockers event. If you are in the Chicago area on June 19th, DO NOT SKIP THIS EVENT. You wont want to miss it. Speed Club will be there.

These M/R rides creep up all over the US. Last year alone Minneapolis, Chicago, Ohio and Wisconsin all hosted their own version. These rides are always a lot of fun so have a look around your area and see if you’re missing out.
