I was doing laps across the internet yesterday researching magnetos and thinking up strange ideas for converting a triumph magneto to work on something very different. In my search I came across this really great site “MagnetoZoo.” The guy running the cycle blog has lots of really great pics and parts t feast the eyes on. Dig it. Lowbrow Customs New Site

The guys at Lowbrow have launched their new site. Check it out when you have a chance. The lowbrow blog has been moved to the front page which is definitely right up our alley. The Lowbrow Customs and Biltwell Inc products are always great but in the end, I want to SEE and read about whats happening. Much appreciation for these guys considering the Lowbrow gang are out of the Midwest too. Ohio to be exact.

Kung Fu – Tacos – Dice Magazine – Des Moines Iowa

Kung Fu Tap & Taco in Des Moines, Iowa is hosting a little get-together at their place including a taco eating contest, Dice Magazine merchandise, and Heavy-Clothing (shirts/hats. stickers, etc).  I know there are some guys driving out from the Twin Cities so be there this Saturday, May 15. This event is definitely Speed Club approved.

Drag Bikes of the Past – Barn Job

Found these images some year or so back. It’s “Barn Job!” I always keep these sorts of vintage drag motorcycle images around as inspiration for y next build. It’s a chopper? It’s a bobber? Who cares. There’s just something about casting away the frills for pure, raw, screaming, hate-filled, SPEED! Just look at this thing. This is a blow-your-hair back kind motor-cicle. Who wouldn’t love to have one of these things sitting around in the garage quietly waiting to kill you? This message has been Speed Club Approved
